Halton Moor Hoard

The Halton Moor Hoard consists of a finely decorated late 8th or 9th century Carolingian cup, a plaited silver neck-ring of typical Viking style, 860 silver coins and two gold stamped pendants.

One of these pendants is in the Danish National Museum, the other is shown here.

The hoard dates to c. 1025-30 AD.
